By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

2. Who we are and who may use the site

This website is operated by Shelter Limassol (Gracie Barra BJJ), based in Limassol, Republic of Cyprus. It provides information about our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy, programs, instructors, facilities, and how to contact us or request a free introductory class.

The site is intended for visitors aged 16 and over, or younger users with permission from a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians are responsible for minors who use the site.

3. What you may and may not do

You may browse the site, view content for personal, non-commercial use, and submit enquiries through our contact forms in a honest and lawful way.

You must not:

• use the site for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, data, or accounts;
• upload malware, spam, or offensive material through any form or channel;
• copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of the site without our written consent;
• impersonate our staff, students, or other users; or
• interfere with the normal operation or security of the website.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, we own or license the content on this website, including text, images, logos, layout, and design. Gracie Barra® and related branding are used under licence and remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view and print pages for personal reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

5. Information on the site

We aim to keep class descriptions, schedules, and academy information accurate, but details may change. Timetables, fees, and availability should be confirmed directly with us. Nothing on this site is a binding offer until confirmed in writing or in person at the academy.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in Cyprus and the European Union:

• the site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis;
• we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access;
• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss (including loss of profit, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the site; and
• our total liability for claims relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us for online services in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 100 if no such payment was made.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Cyprus or EU law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Training in martial arts involves physical risk. Enrolment, waivers, and academy rules are handled separately at the school and are not replaced by these website terms.

7. Links to other websites

Our site may link to third-party websites (for example maps or social media). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If a dispute arises, the parties will first try to resolve it through good-faith discussion. If that fails within 30 days, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts of Cyprus, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country give you different rights.

9. Changes and contact

We may change these terms by posting an updated version on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
