Do I need any experience to start?
No experience is needed at all. Our GB1 Fundamentals and GBF Women programs are designed specifically for complete beginners. Every black belt on the mat started exactly where you are now.
Is the first class really free?
Yes — your first introductory class is completely free with no obligation. Use the Contact page to book, and we will confirm the details with you directly.
What should I wear to my first class?
Just wear comfortable athletic clothing — shorts, leggings, or a t-shirt are all fine. We will provide a Gracie Barra Gi and rashguard for your first class. Bring a pair of flip-flops or sandals to wear off the mat, and a water bottle.
From what age can children start?
Children can start from age 5 in our GBK Kids program. Classes are structured by age group and skill level, so children progress at the right pace in a safe, supportive environment.
How long are the classes?
Standard group classes run approximately 60 minutes. Private classes can be scheduled for 45 or 60 minutes depending on your preference. Check the timetable or contact us for the current schedule.
How do I book a free introductory class?
Open the Contact page, fill in your name, email, phone number, and the program you are interested in, then submit. We will get back to you to confirm availability and tell you exactly what to bring.
How do I explore the classes and programs?
Go to Classes in the menu to browse GBK Kids, GBF Women, GB1 Fundamentals, GB2 Advanced, GB3 Expert, and Private Classes. Each page explains who the class is for, what to expect, and what you will learn.
What payment methods do you accept?
Membership and class fees are handled at the academy. We typically accept card and bank transfer. Online payment is not processed through this website — all arrangements are made directly with the academy.
How long does it take to hear back after I submit a form?
We aim to respond within one to two business days. If your enquiry is urgent, calling us directly is the fastest option.
How do I cancel a booking or membership?
Contact us directly by email or phone. Cancellation terms follow the membership or training agreement you sign at the academy.
How do I get in touch with the academy?
Use the Contact page, send us an email, or call us during academy hours. For urgent matters, the phone is usually the fastest way to reach us.
How do I change the language or appearance of the site?
Use the EN / EL / RU buttons in the header to switch language. Use the sun or moon icon in the menu to toggle between light and dark mode. Your preferences are saved in your browser for your next visit.
