Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and how you can control them.
Last updated: May 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage (used for preferences) and pixels or tags used by analytics or embedded content.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to make the site work, remember your choices, understand how visitors use the site, and (only if you agree) support analytics or marketing. For how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
3. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary (first-party)
These are required for basic operation. They cannot be switched off in our systems without breaking core features.
- gb-theme (local storage) — remembers light or dark display mode.
- Language preference (local storage, if saved) — remembers EN / EL / RU selection.
- Session / security cookies (if used by hosting) — help protect the site from abuse.
Functional / preference (first-party)
These improve your experience, such as keeping navigation or form settings during a visit.
Analytics (third-party, if enabled)
We may use services such as Google Analytics to collect aggregated statistics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). These cookies are set only if we enable analytics and, where required by law, after you consent through a cookie banner.
Embedded content (third-party)
Our contact page may embed Google Maps. Google may set its own cookies when you interact with the map. We do not control those cookies; please review Google’s privacy and cookie information.
Advertising
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
4. First-party vs third-party
First-party cookies are set by our domain (for example theme and language storage). Third-party cookies are set by providers such as Google when you use embedded maps or analytics.
5. How to manage cookies
- Use our cookie banner (if shown) to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Help is usually under “Privacy” or “Security” in your browser menu.
- For Google Analytics opt-out, visit Google’s opt-out add-on (if analytics is active).
Blocking necessary cookies or local storage may affect theme, language, or form behaviour.
